Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers regarding platform architecture, lookup formatting instructions, and our localized approach to user anonymity.

Why do you require accounts to report?

To reduce automated abuse and ensure database integrity against malicious bot networks. Creating an account allows our engine to validate submission behavior safely. Most importantly, your public identity is never displayed next to any reported phone records.

What phone format should I use?

Our database engine handles queries structured strictly via the international E.164 format. Every entry must initiate with a plus sign (+) tracked immediately by 7 to 15 numbers. For domestic numbers inside Greece, use the layout format: +3021XXXXXXXX or +3069XXXXXXXX.

Can I remove a comment or report?

Yes. If a submission contains an structural error, unintended personal details, or violates localized regulations, please reach out directly to support. Be sure to supply the exact phone number profile page URL so our team can execute immediate data cleanup protocols.

How does the closed data strategy work?

Unlike corporate directories that scrape, package, and resell private listings, WhoCalled runs a sandboxed framework. Everyday user searches query records submitted exclusively by our community members. Your lookup data never crosses third-party pipelines unless a serious external telemetry threshold is broken.

Where is my data hosted?

All database instances and application routing layers are safely hosted within secure, high-tier servers located entirely in Greece. This configuration provides complete systemic containment under sovereign regulatory metrics.
